Workplace Development Programs To Provide Green Job Training

EPA has selected OAI Incorporation to get $500,000 in grant funding which would make employees trained for accessing and cleaning up of brownfield sites. Such a big amount of funding would be supported by American Recovery and ReInvestment Act 2009. The OAI Incorporation has a well established program which would help them to train 80 students and place 64 graduates in green jobs. This program would consist of 98 hours of training followed by other 168 hours of environmental training or 96 hours of energy conservation training. The participants who get successful graduated from this program would receive certifications in OSHA Construction and hazardous waste operations and emergency response. From past many years EPA has awarded more than $25 million in brown fields jobs. Out of which 5000 people have completed training in EPA with around 3000 getting jobs into environmental fields. Citizens Of Norwalkers Make Brownfields Green

Having an instinct to make world green place to live in , the residents of city graduated from a training program on how to restore the properties called “brownfields” for productive usage. During the program for Environmental Safety, the students got the skills needed to gain employment with companies which provide brownfield remediation services. The Brownfield Remediation Program was being funded by a grant from the Environment Protection Act which was open to only Norwalk residents. The performance manager for workplace said that it was the best training cycle in history where each and every participant graduated from the program. The course is as a pleasure, but with that also a challenging task to do. Many people who saw the advertisement of this course into various forms were optimistic about finding work in such a remediation field because it provides a lot of information for a lot of employees.
